In the light

This beautiful Boston home was featured in Traditional Home, and I couldn't resist sharing it for the incredible amount of light that floods in.  The home is a Georgian colonial which typically has plenty of windows, but here they seem over sized and facing the right direction. The interior designer who worked on this is Michael Carter of Carter and Company, and he did a fabulous job of really playing up the light with soft walls, and bold accents. I love that the family room, has a little pocket of fun within it's neutral scheme; a games table and chairs covered in red velvet! The master bedroom with it's blue rug, headboard and bead skirt, just pops out against the creamy walls and upholstery.  A fabulous home, with many details to admire.

  3. Dreamy creamy! I am always in awe at how designers use just the right splash of colour plus just the right colour to work with the over all look
