We are about to get walloped with about 30-40 cm's of snow here, and all I can think of is how wonderful it would be to be trapped inside this warm and inviting Aspen retreat. When it's icy cold out this is the kind of interior you want to hunker down in. The rich woods, and stone create an earthy richness. It's spacious, with plenty of architectural interest, from ceilings, down the walls, and to the floors Sink into a sofa or snuggle under the covers, every aspect is appointed impeccably in a simple and warming style. Husband and wife duo at Interior design firm, Caroline Edwards bring us this tasteful and exceptional winter escape. Stay warm my friends.

I could be trapped an entire winter! as long as i have food, my skis and my books

Superb house, I am not a winter fan, but this dwelling is so incredibly warm, I would be willing to risk some winter activities in order to come back to this cozy home.
