Murano Glass Lamps

I am not sure what the current blog lingo is; swooning, crushing or obsessing, perhaps I can use all three to describe my fascination with Murano glass lamps.  The colours are brilliant and extraordinarily reflective.  The textures and shapes are so inviting. Even the all white makes an interesting addition to a room.  So now, all I need is a trip to Venice to find the perfect one!

  3. Thanks so much for the kind words about Swank. I suppose in the spirit of the 4th. of July Holiday approaching, I should point out that there are many wonderfully talented American glass blowers. In fact the first two lamps are made right here in the USA. The first one is by Joe Cariati exclusively for us. The second is by a very talented American glass blower; Tracy Glover. Anyway I love your blog and thanks again for including Swank.

  5. They are gorgeous. Donghia (now under Rubelli) has also great ones, and even if expensive they can really change a room!

  6. I am a big fan of swank lighting. I am actually considering a pair of their lamps for my new bedroom..just waiting for a few things to get installed to see if they will work. They are true works of art.
