In the Hills

If you missed Architectural Digest's feature on this modern Aspen Ski lodge, here is a little glimpse into some of it's splendor. I must admit that on first glance the most exciting part about this lodge, is the intentional abandonment of typical winter cabin design.  Mid century modern takes front stage, with the addition of plush comforts, for an ever expanding family. A simplified colour scheme of natural wood, white, black and red, and a fine selection of furnishings and artwork, create a vast space for entertaining and lounging.  An ideal settings for the holidays or to tackle the winter blah's!

  1. Hello my friend,

I hope that you are well and are having a wonderful week so far! As for this post, what a beautiful place... I certainly wouldn't mind skipping Christmas to stay here—just to relax and get away from the craziness of life... beautiful in every detail! (I did not see this issue, so it's new to me)

    Warmly,
    Sarah
