French Country

While catching up on my blog reads over the weekend, I was reminded of this very talented Architectural design firm, Andrew Skurman.  Their work is familiar, as they have graced the pages of many of our favorite design magazines, but I had never actually browsed their website.. French, Mediterranean, and Georgian estates, are beautifully detailed in their.extensive portfolio.  Inside and out, these homes are designed to perfection.  I have no information on who the actual Interior designer is on this particular project, but credit should indeed be given.  Also, check out the detail of the trim and paneling, even the cast stone mantel. I often wish I knew who the contractor's are who work on these projects, an architect is only as good as his worst tradesman.

Thanks to The Designer's Muse for the good read on Saturday!

  2. Very interesting space. I love that such a modern big art piece mixes so well into a formal, traditional room.
