The countdown is on, and I just can't tell you how excited I am to be a participant on this incredible tour of the London Design Scene. There are daily tweets and email updates about the endless people to meet places to see, and of course, objects to admire. Between work, and getting the kids sorted for school, I am feeling a little guilty sending updates to my husband about all the cool things I am about to experience. I owe him the biggest Thank You, because he was totally supportive about finding a way to make this happen.
If you haven't checked out the Modenus site yet, you should. It's a happy little place on the net for the design savvy to connect, be inspired, and source beautiful products from around the world. I had no idea how enriched my personal and professional life would become as a result of blogging. Let me tell you that it is because of real people behind great brands that I have had the opportunity to get out there and forge some great friendships. Locally, the Canadian Design Blogger Meetups have been a great way to gain mutual support from brands and bloggers, and having the opportunity to do the same internationally, is a true honor. Here are just a few of the people I am looking forward to connecting with.
The Modenus team included...

You'll be getting a generous dose of coverage of #BlogTour London in the coming weeks. It'll be really interesting to see how design in Europe differs from ours.
