This breathtaking space is the home of Calgary based designer Nam Dang Mitchell. This is one of those homes I would love to get a tour of. I adore the mix of traditional, modern and industrial for this modern family. Beautifully tailored furniture complimented by some really interesting and unique pieces. The entry table with an old tree like base and limestone top is a piece I would treasure. What a great way to add character to an indoor/outdoor room. Grays and golds really play off each other throughout, keeping with that theme of traditional meets modern.
I adore thisvacation home that belongs to Atlanta based Designer Kay Douglas. Her bold injection of colour makes this coastal home a fun little retreat. But she hasn't lost any of her classic sensibilities, and kept the furnishings beautifully tailored and sophisticated!
I have a pinterest board called Fashion Fairytales that is filled with stories like this one. Romantic adventures of love, life and luxury! I especially love these nautical ones. Sunbathing on a warm deck, the salty ocean air keeping you cool, and sheer thrill of being on an open ocean. It makes me want to forget the cottage, and buy a yacht.
I am still dreaming of a house in the country. I found this one to be particularly special for it's modern take on the rustic barn. Beautiful architecture to admire, paired down style, but still so interesting. The space was designed by Bonetti/Kozerski Studio, for Hollywood director Shaun Levy, and hs young family. Such a quiet and peaceful escape.
It's a busy Monday, but I couldn't let the day go by without sharing this fantastically rustic but revived space. Shades of gray, washed white, found objects, antiques and organized clutter make for a chaming and inviting farmhouse.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the updated classics.
The hemlines and cuts are so appropriate and beautiful. The details are so simple and delicate, and yet so unique. Even the hair and make up is just lovely. It would have been delightful to see this done with true sized men and women. Nonetheless, beautiful.

Dreamy art in vivid colours! These fluid like compositions are by New York based artist John Lecce. At first glance I thought they were photos of various colored liquids combining, and then I realized they are acrylic paintings. How fabulous! His portfolio is filled with an endless array of colours, from intense hues to calming neutrals.
